Name a Teammate is a free NBA trivia game. This page says what we collect, why, and who can see it. Questions or deletion requests: nameateammate@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account details: if you sign up, your email and a username. Guests get a random guest name and no email.
- Game data: the games you play and your win and loss totals.
- Basic usage data: which pages are visited and where visitors come from, tied to a random ID in your browser, not to your name or email.
Shared game links
When you tap Share, we save that game so the link can show it. Anyone with the link can view the recap, including the usernames in it.
Who handles your data
We use trusted third-party providers to host the site and handle sign-in. We don't sell your data and we don't use advertising cookies. If we ever add ads or other services that collect data, we'll update this page first.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your account and game data by emailing us from the address on the account. Guests can clear the site's data in their browser settings.
Children
The game is meant for people 13 and older. If you believe a younger child has created an account, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes
We'll change the date above when this page changes.
